Heavy Duty Hobs for hobbing gears contain a cylindrical body formed in its peripheral surface with generally axially extending grooves. It is available in Module Range from m0.5 to m35 and Diameter Range from 20 to 350mm. Hob material is generally HSS in grades M2, M35, M42, ASP2052, and ASP2062.
